  • Take your time and go somewhere else
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/09
There's a reason the I@QA website shows no complete photo of any of their rooms.

We got a room smaller than anything you'd find at a travelodge (for 3x more, of course)...the bathroom door didn't work (latch broken) the baseboards were lifted up, the windows were single-pane wooden lift-ups (even on the bottom floors) and the ceiling ...

  • Great value and service!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/09
After reading some reviews I was a little skeptical of staying here; However, this is truly a charming, clean place with great service. Some reviews speak of no A/C, hot water, and noise problems, but our room had A/C and no problems. I highly recommend staying here. They even called a taxi for us at 4 am. Will definately stay here again. Kudos to Ashleigh!

  • Unforgettable stay!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/19/09
I was taking a cruise to Alaska, and wanted to stay three days in Seattle to see main attractions. At this time I was a solo traveller, so I was somewhat anxious. I got there May 4th at 10 pm. Front desk was very efficient and customer oriented. Its true its an old structure as some reviews state. The carpet needs some upgrading but this is ...

  • You get what you pay for!!
    By Emily W, 05/05/09
    It was an awful experience!

The front desk girl was with her girlfriend outside and rushed in to check me in and then her girlfriend came in and was waiting behind me... as if I was impeding on their time! When we came back from their parking lot, which is a block away, she was outside again with her girlfriend.

The website is very deceiving; ...

  • Would not go back
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/16/08
Liked the location. However the facility is very old with creaky/noisy floors. Also the carpets are in terrible shape. The worst part is the hot water for showers which fluctuates all the time. We were in the third floor and had the water pressure go down to almost nothing at times which is extremely annoying when you are taking a shower. Breakfast facility is cramped and inconveniently located.

  • good value, nice folks
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/23/08
this place was perfect for a solo traveler, or couple, the staff is really nice and professional. It is a vintage hotel, which means older rooms with thin walls. Bring earplugs. Good value.

  • The website is misleading
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/17/08
The location is great! There are several restaurants and bars around that are great to hang out. The Metropolitan Market is right there if you are staying for any amount of time it can easily stock your kitchenette-better buy some pots and pans those aren't included. Our radiator was on full blast-or at least felt like it was-even after we ...

  • I'll be back!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/05/08
I have stayed in many hotels in downtown Seattle for over 40 years, and rents have climbed through the roof, over the years. One is lucky to find a decent place to stay for $100.00 per night. Yes, the building is an antique, and it does have charm and char-acter. I really enjoy historic buildings, and am not a fan of the Travelodge, the Super 8 ...

  • Wonderful place
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/24/07
I stayed here for three days while visiting my brother. Coming in from Texas on a five hour flight was really tough on me, so I was glad that coming to a place like this was so easy. The only problem I had was that the hotel's check in time was 3 and I showed up at 1, but I didn't check that, so it's kinda my fault. That, and the wireless connection was really unreliable. Other than that, I really enjoyed the room here.
