You may want to skip this one!We stayed at the Grand Canyon Country Inn in March of 2008. The gentleman at the front desk is very nice. But that is the end of the good experience. The indoor pool was cold and the hot tub was full of foam and the smell of chlorine burned my eyes. After going to the pool we were thirsty and wanted something to drink. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here!I disliked this hotel because the sheets and the mattresses were dirty, the paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom. We couldn't enjoy the cable tv because there were lines thru most of the channels. Bad Stay at Grand Canyon Country InnThe air conditioning did not work in my room when I checked in, however they did move me to a different room. They close the pool and spa at 0900 PM every night which makes it tough on the late arrivals. The doors and walls were banged up and the carpet was coming up by the door. Highly RecomendedThis is an excellent location for the money. It has a very nice indoor pool and hot tub. The rooms are large and clean. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Breakfast is small and the wireless internet needs more range to reach the new section. No trains could be heard (unlike other hotels in the area).1 of 1 Yahoo! Best placeIt is a very decent and cheap place to stay. We have stayed there every time we made a trip to the Grand Canyon. It is at an hour's drive from GC. It's not really fancy or anything. A GREAT MOTEL. GOING BACK AGAIN.The reason we choose this hotel is we had stayed there before. WE WERE THERE FOR THE ham Fest. We were treated so good. The staff was so helpful to us. The room were nice and clean and huge. This hotel is conventently located. So close to the railrod, and restaurants, and scenic route 66 for shopping. Grandchildren enjoyed the indoor
swimming pool.
We were dissappointed the spa was

It's too old!Where should I start? The sheets were dirty, the blankets were stained, there was a hole in the ceiling, the paint was peeling off the walls, and the vent inside the restroom was shooting out droplets of water.
