Overall I liked this old hotel, the service was good, my room was clean, and it is very charming, the elevator is very tiny...the breakfast was awesome!!!! for the price I would stay again.

The Lasserhof is located within walking distance of the downtown market and the Fortress so good location. Staff excellent, helpful, informative. Breakfast great! My only complaint would be that the bathroom distinctly smelled of urine!

It started with the service at the front desk which was not really helpful. We went up to our room and had a devil of a time to get the door open. This should have been our que to exit. We travel to Salzburg every year and stay at the hotel Lasserhof. It is well located, central but still quiet. The rooms are comfortable with very clean nice little bathrooms.
Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, & free internet

The cleaner had the worst BO I have ever smelt in my live and the smell lingers around the hotel all morning. The staff are not helpfull at all and in one instance they had staff on the main desk who didn't even speak German let alone English. Located close to train station-convenient. About 20 minute walk to the historical downtown area. Walk is very pleasant, partly through the Mirabelle Gardens.
Rooms are simple but clean.
Air conditioning unit couldn't cope with summer heat.
Don't expect much guidance from concierge.

Nothing was wrong all meeted my expectations

My whole family went to Salzburg and stayed at this hotel. It is VERY neat and tidy. We enjoyed our stay very much and it's location was perfect for walking to the old town.

I like this place, clean, good location. Great value for the rates charged.
I firmly reccomend it to all travellers.
