I normally avoid discount hotels like the plague, but I needed a room at the last minute and this was the only one available. I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. The room is clean, comfortable, and fairly quiet. The furnishings are not top luxury, but not bottom-of-the-line either. I did not find anything to be worn out as others did. The ...

Time warp and not very clean
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/07
The hotel prices are cheap, and the old saying applies, if something seems to be good to be true...it probably isn't.
The staff were friendly but that was as good as it got...
The rooms are like a time warp from the 80's old furniture, worn out, musty smelling carpets and less than stellar washrooms.
With three children, it is difficult to find a good hotel room that can accommodate the entire family in one room. The 2-bed suite (with a pull out couch in the sitting room) was perfect. The suite was spacious and included a nice bathroom with sink separate from the toilet area -- a must for a group of 5 -- and a kitchen area. The rooms were ...

four of us spent the night at the days inn in watertown, we checked in about one in the morning, on our way home from syracuse after a concert, we were all tired and wanted showers, there was two towels for four people, we called the front desk, boy was he put out, we had to go down there to get towels, got ready to go to bed, i have a sinus ...
I have stayed at literally hundreds of hotels in my lifetime, and I have never gotten service like the kind of five-star service that I got at this "two-star" Days Inn. The staff members were extremely and GENUINELY nice (not "I-want-a-good-tip" nice), knowledgeable, and willing and interested in engaging in conversation like ...
My husband and i stayed at the days inn overnight b'c of weather conditions. The rooms was very nice, and very clean. The staff was friendly. The rates for a room were affordable. I would recommend the days inn to anyone that needs to stay in the watertown area. EXCELLENT HOTEL!

No Towels
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/21/06
When we arrived there were no towels in the rooms. When they were delivered to the rooms an hour later, 7pm, they were damp. There was also no ironing board/iron in the room, something most travelers these days demand. Otherwise, the hotel was clean...that's what really counts.
We had a great experience at the Day's Inn. Staff was very courteous and the facility was well cared for. A couple of problems with cable and AC. However, the positives vastly outweighed the negatives. Rooms were very spacious and accommodating for our family of 5. Also, we ate at Denny's two times and both times had excellent service ...

Excellent service for excellent value!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/05
The service at this hotel was excellent! All the staff people we encountered were above and beyond nice. The hotel is in the process of upgrading all the rooms with new tvs, microwaves, and ironing boards. However, our room did not have these amenities (excluding the tv) but we brought microwave popcorn. The staff were more than happy to pop our ...

Best Hotel In Area
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/05
Originally was going to stay at the Best Western up the street. It was a DUMP! Dark smoky hallways and lots of teenagers loitering. I immediately checked out and went to the Days Inn (the only other chain hotel in the area). The elevators are a bit dated, but they were remodeling the hotel while we were there. We have stayed there several ...
