The motel was a little better than camping and we were expecting better for $130 a night (July 2008), The owners are very friendly and nice but that does not make up for the lack of basic amenities for the price paid. The rooms are small and damp, the bathroom is small, the towels are slightly bigger than handkerchieves. Air conditioning was hardly working even cranked up to the max. The price was outrageous for what this motel has to offer.
Excellent value. Great owners, wonderful experience. Clean and enjoyable. Excellent location. Have stayed many times over the years. Only problem was not many surfaces in the bathroom to lay your things down while you get ready. Other than that it is a wonderful clean place.
What a great time my husband two young children and I had on our trip this summer to the Mariner Motel. The motel was wonderful and the staff was so friendly. The owners Karen and Bob made us feel right at home from the minute we got there. They were very informative and immediately helped us plan a great vacation. We spent alot of time at the ...
Dirty towel found under the bed, empty plastic bag in the drawer with bible, no towel rack in bathroom, carpets worn and matted, parking lot lighting very dim, beds old, shabby furniture and blankets.
I liked the ideal that Mariners Motel is in walking distance to shops, cafe's and restaurants. Also the services and friendless is very well respected.
Our room was spotless and included everything we needed, even a refrigerator. The staff was friendly and helpful. Discounted tickets to Martha's Vineyard were offered and the pool was a great place to relax in. We'll be back!
