I was called in my room at 1045am by the front desk to advise me i needed to check out by 11am.....then 15 minutes later there was a knock on the door. it was the front desk clerk to remind me again i had to check out at 11am. I've been a travel agent for 19 years now and have never heard of this happeneing.
