My wife and I went for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The hotel check in process was busy and took a while but the room and location were great.
After reading other peoples' review, I was intrigued on how accurate they were. First, the location was GREAT!!!!. We were very close to Time Square but still far from the noise. Close to Rockerfeller Center and many other things. Very close to the subway entrance to.
The hotel is very nice. I never saw it before but I like what it looks ...

This hotel was an oasis in this crazy city. Loved the concierge floor--good breakfast including lox and bagels, mid-day snacks worked well, and well done evening cocktails. I used the restaurant and the pool and both were terrific.
The hotle overall is just fine, nothing spectacular about it. I booked the conceirge floor and recevied nothing out of the ordinary. Their web site boasts plush robes (there was one hanging in the bathroom), fruit basket (none to be seen) fresh flowers (again, did not have this). The one thing that wa snice was the butler floor lounge for ...
We went for just a fun trip, I was afraid the room would be small but it wasn't, we jumped on the subway and went everywhere. we were in the middle of everything in times square. The doubletree was in great location too, looked like a great place. We were on the 28th floor, newly renovated, i would be concerned about air if i were staying in ...

horrible service. check in was at 3:00...we arrived at 5:00 and were told our room would not be available for another 30 min. no explanation was given and no offer to store our luggage.we were starving and started snacking until security scolded us like little children and told us we couldnt eat in the lobby. an hour had passed and still no room. ...
Right in the heart of the theater district, within walking distance of central park, etc. We were upgraded to a corner room w/views of times square and the hudson river. Staff and concierge very helpful. One thing we wouldn't do again was the breakfast...outrageous price when you can get breakfast at any nearby deli. Loved it and can't wait to return!

The service can get much better, and I will really like a service from the airport to the hotel, the rooms can have more color so it wont apear so sad , food can be better
First, they are in the middle of construction, so the whole lobby is blocked off and you have to access the front desk (or the hotel at all) by cramming all people coming and going into one elevator going up and down one floor. I didn't see anything about construction, anywhere!! Second, as a Priority Club member they are supposed to upgrade my ...
