My daughter and I were guests at the Victoria during Oct. of last year. We were pleasantly surprised to find the beautiful surroundings,accomidations and comfort. The room was slightly threadbare, which sometimes occurs when furnishing with antiques, but I still preferred it to motel generic as in Super 8. The service was flawless from the entire staff, and the food was wonderful. The arrangement of covered walkways out back created a delightful air of intimacy, like an enchanted garden, and it was perfect for all the reunion guests. I hope we all come back to the same place next time around.
In the year 1988, I first visited Anniston, Al. My son had recently joined the U.S. Army and was station at the nearby army base. My daughter and I drove all night to reach Anniston in time for my son's gratuation from basic training.

Alabama's Best Hotel

This is really one of the great hotels in America. Great rooms, suites and guest house. It is a shame it is in such a terrible city. Great food, great pool. I love it!
