I loved the fact that they don't use those nasty hotel/motel bedspreads but wash the sheets and throws. Super comfy pillows and comforter and towels. Good room sizes, pool and fitness area are kind of small but it's a Holiday Inn Express and was to be expected. Close proximity to Duluth and cheaper.

The mattresses were so hard and uncomfortable we didnt get much sleep. In the middle of the night we took all the pillows and slept on them on top of the mattresses. It was awful!
The hotel was clean we liked the fact that they washed the bedspread after each stay. But we will never stay there again because of the mattresses!

Friendly staff. Spacious room with big bed and bunk-beds for kids. Indoor pool. Nice breakfast, lots to choose from ! Would go back again definitely.

A short drive from Duluth, great pool and clean new facility. It's all there!

We loved the location...it was right on Lake Superior, and there was a really nice park, and walkway within a short distance. We really enjoyed this at night, when the sun was setting. Only true problem was trouble finding a spot to park. The parking lot was reduced by snowbanks, and then people with snowmobile trailers were using at least four slots each...

I know - it's winter in the mid-west, what do you expect, but it was the ONLY real problem with an otherwise nice stay!

The Holiday Inn is a very respectful and exquisent expierence me and my family stayed there while my daughter had a meeting there we came from Beverly Hills and the service is better then some in the Hills.!!
