This place is incredible! Although tucked a little out of the way, it is worth the time to get there. Everything was great; rooms staff and the spa! With a jogging trail on the river and a great place to dine and sip wine next door. I know we'll be staying there again

Room service menu is limited but our order was above average in quality.

Wi-Fi network is spotty at best, basically not a service they should advertise, unless they upgrade to something more reliable.

Pillows below the quality one would expect from this caliber of hotel.

The Avalon is a beautifully decorated, and quiet hotel. The rooms look like home and the bathrooms are magnificent with the large, glassed-in showers. The decor of the room we stayed in was tasteful and not at all like a hotel. Room size ran a little small but adequate, and had a nice balcony looking out on the Willamette River.

The decor and architecture are very clean and modern. The views of the river from our suite were amazing. The staff in every area of the hotel, spa and restaurant were polished, smart, efficient and super-friendly.

Gorgeous views, beautiful modern architecture and decor. Close to everything POrtland has to offer yet quiet and removed from the feeling of rushing. overall - just perfect.
