This hotel defintely tries to be what it is not. The hotel is not ugly or dirty, but the lack of attention to detail let you know that there is a management problem somewhere. We were not greeted when we arrived. We were not given sufficient information about dining or where the room was. We did not know that parking in the garage was required and ...

We went on a last minute trip with our kids. When I saw the lobby and how poished it was I was thinking they were more in line for business people not kids. Not at all. The staff was friendly, the rooms were nice and the breakfast at the cafe was great. Everyone was great with the kids and made it a wonderful stay.

This is the best of the best ...Can't get no better than this...The food is the best with great folks to serve you...When you ckeck in it is hassle free. Your never told your room is not ready if you have a reservation your room will be ready, Superb views from every angle. Plus a nice fireplace to rest by in the lobby.

Unfortunately, Chattanooga still does not have too many options for nice accommodations. Staff was very rude and condescending. You can keep your over rated and over priced hotel rooms...I will stay at the Marriott.

stayed two nights oct. 26 @ 27.live music on fridays and saturdays.not cool for those that want to go to sleep before 1 am.loud folks around the outdoor fire also.
you would be better off getting a room on the end opposite the bar and ballrooms.

Hotel needs to pay attention to detail. Rooms are dusty and windows are dirty.
Front of hotel is full of cigarette butts and cobwebs....Staff is more then friendly, seems like a management problem.
Internet keeps cutting out also.

The appearance of the hotel was beautiful. The rooms are a little small though. The people at the spa were nice but we had a few complaints... My $50 spa pedicure wasn't that great! The girl didn't get the dead skin away from my cuticles ( she didn't even try) and my toes were not painted evenly. Some even had lots of bubbles when ...

I called new years eve and got in to the new years package. I think this was the best new years party we have been to. The staff and service was A+. The food was five star. Will be back again before next year (New Year party) for our frequent trips to Chattanooga. Thair was some stains on the carpet but the bed sleep very good.

My husband had stayed at the Chattanoogan on business and suggested we go back together to try the spa. This was the loudest and smallest spa I've ever been in.....it's on the second floor right next to the indoor pool....I heard screaming kids during my massage.
On the other hand, the hotel is nice and the food in the Broad Steet Grill is good.....I just wouldn't recommend having any spa services.
