I was expecting this area to be a little shabby, since I had travelled in this area years ago. They have done a great deal in the ensuing years to improve this area dramatically. There is a beautiful convention center across the street and the relatively new Columbus Blue Jackets Arena is nearby as well. We found many nice restaurants and bars ...
The staff is very courteous and pleasant. The hotel is very modern and offers lots of great amenities, like an indoor pool and hottub, and complimentary high speed internet. If a New Yorker loves it...

This place is fabulous. It is located in the Arena District and Shrot North...there are many art galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Not to mention it's in walking distance to the Nationwide arena...where they have great concerts. Downtown Columbus is fabulous and this hotel is in the heart!

Downtown was inconvenient.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/04
The hotel was nice and I enjoyed my stay. Getting to the hotel was another matter. The directions I used from Yahoo had me lost in downtown. They were not good at all. I would probably not stay here again because of the traffic. I would look elsewhere around the city off of the interstate and drive further to my meeting. Thanks,
