Highly recommend the Hampton. Great service and location. Beale St. is in walking distance. The only thing that I wish was different is the parking fee. You have to pay $17.00 to park at the hotel per day. Other than that I can't complain. Enjoyed my stay!

I really enjoyed my first experience in Memphis. The front desk was extremely courteous and knowledgeable of the area. We constantly asked about the restaurants and they knew which was best. The hot tub was too hot for us but they fixed the problem. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we would definitely come back. There are no longer beignets but there is a fantastic crepe shop located within the hotel. The 24 hour pool/jacuzzi was awesome!!

Good Choice....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/07
June 02. We stopped overnight and had a King Suite with a balcony. We had the park across the street so we could hear the concert bands playing right from the room and balcony. We had 2 children with us so this was great that we got to hear some good Blues and other music without leaving the room that night. We are going back this weekend, no kids, and plan to get some good eats and music. Nov. 07

Great place to stay with loads of entertainment within walking distance and trolley.
Faye Helms, breakfast hostess, was especially cordial. She served us with a smile!

Vulgar language from staff was loud enough to wake me up.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/11/07
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this fine hotel. The facility was extremely clean and well maintained.
I have one complaint though. Everything was fine up until the last day of my stay. I was awakened by vulgar language from the hallway. I looked through the peephole to see who it was and found that the vulgar language was comming from the mouths ...

The breakfast buffet is great, suite is wonderful and the balcony is ...

Great hotel and great location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/06
Right next door to shopping. Just a few feet from Beale Street. Only a few blocks from South Main Arts district (walking distance). Surrounded by great restaurants.
The staff at the Hampton Inn is the best. From the moment you enter the hotel, they are there for all your needs. They also have the most spacious and cleanest rooms you'll find anywhere. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in downtown Memphis.
We go to the same room each month, if possiable, and enjoy the view, the clean and spacious room, it has everthing you need. You are in the middle of what is happening on Beal and the Orphiuem is just a nice walk away. It now has a Corky's resturant just inside the doors so you never have to worry about getting hurgry. The Peabody Place Mall ...
