The Corel Marien was a brilliant hotel. We spoke to people on trips from other hotels (even 5 star)and by the sounds of it, our hotel was by far better. The Vacation staff are annoying and bug you to go to their meetings. Just tell them no. The chocolate gang are great. I just wish I could have got a copy of their song. They work all day in the hot sun never complaining. Special mentions to Grace, Shaggy, Claudio and Coffee.

I liked the beds because they was soft and the pool was clean. The thing i disliked about it was that i didnt like the smell.

OUR FIRST TRIP TO THE DOMINICAN BUT I CAN SAY THAT THE BAR IS SET HIGH. THE STAFF WERE GREAT, THE FOOD WAS GOOD, IF NOT VERY GOOD, AND THE WEATHER GIVEN THE TIME (MARCH) WAS OK.ALL I CAN SAY IS IF YOU WANT FOR NOTHING, OTHER THAN TO BE SERVED THIS IS THE PLACE.

We have been there at the Marien about 18 times. Our daughter was married at the Marien.
We were always treated as valued members of the "Coral Family".

We have been to the Dominican 8 times the past 12 years and this was our best vacation. We have stayed in Punta Cana (1x), Soisia (1x), and Puerta Plata.(Grand Flemenco Playa Doroda) 5 times. Just got back (March 2007) after a great week. Sunny and high 80's every day. Resort is very clean and very well maintained. Note that they are no longer operated by Hilton. i liked everything, the service, the food, the rooms, the shows etc. the rooms are modern, affordable price. In my opinion, there is nothing bad to say about coral mariel, i would say it's the best resort in puerto plata. I've been in a few already.

everything at the hotel was very good the food was excellent alot of activities and love the pool.poeples that work there were very nice.And for room service too nothing to complaint about.that was my best place in puerto plata.

Week of Jan.18th 2007 was fantastic. Resort of the Marien Coral was above expectations.
Staff very welcoming and available to support every question or need. Beach area open and clean. Restaurant variety great for the "A La Carte" style for Tex Mex or Pasta dinner and Crepes too even!
