We stayed at a unit that was refered to us by a past guest.
These folks highly recomended unit 824 because someone they know, knows the owner.
The location was great. pools outstanding and the price was right.

I have stayed at many other places, but Grande Shores Ocean Resort is by far the best value for the money. Great service,very clean, nice dining on the premises, plus very easy to get to shows, etc.

It seems this hotel has a overrating score by the out of towners, people not from the closest states, North Carolina. The room was dirty, the carpets feel sticky, I walked barefoot on the carepet and my feet were filthy, the bathroom floor still had sand and dirt from the previous occupants, the bathtub has mold, and there was a cockaroach climbing ...

I have stayed here a few times, off peak season. The deals through the fall, winter, and spring are great. Hot tubs on the 6th? 7th? floor are what sets this apart from anywhere else I have stayed. We had a great time. The service was good. Great location close to all the attractions. Very easy to locate from the main hwy.
The parking in side of the motel was a good touch.

The girl that checked us in and out was wonderful. Very helpful. When we got to our room the maids things were still in the room and apparently they were on break because unfortunately the break room was right across from our room. Great place for our family. Plenty of room in the three bedroom condo we rented. Condo was very clean. We will be going back. I'm already planning our next visit.
