great location. Great coffee shop next door. music on sundays is great! Very cute hotel! i would definitely recommend this hotel to people visiting that want to experience the fun times that Austin has to offer.

For those looking for a tradition hotel to watch tv in at night, this might not be the best choice. But, I think that its funky atmosphere are perfect for adventurers and travellers looking for fun/nightlife/art.

The rooms and minimalist and spacious. Probably not for everyone, but anyone who's a fan of "The Standard" hotel would love it! The best part is "happy hour" outside at the hotel lobby. Lots of 20-40 somethings enjoying themselves and the great atmosphere. It's AWESOME!!!

The Hotel San Jose is a great boutique hotel - it's hip, but comfortable. I liked the mimimalist design. If you're looking for plush accommodations or a good place for the kids, this isn't the hotel for you.
