This was a wonderful place, somewhere between a hotel and a B&B. It's in thhe heart of the Gunks, and there's a huge cliff wall behind it that provides an impressive backdrop. The owners were friendly, and their cat Lily also liked our room. Breakfast was hard-boiled eggs, cereals and such like, served in the high-ceilinged common room. A wonderful smell of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies filled the lodge in the evening.

Clean, friendly, close to hiking trails, and local historic towns. A great variety of breakfast foods. Local winery. A beautiful destination. Close to famous Mohonk Mountain House.
