Every year my friends and I stay a week or more in Lafayette for our birthdays. Just to get away and hang out with other friends. For the past 5 years we have stayed at the Microtel and wouldn't stay anywhere elese. Several times we have been upgraded when rooms were over booked, but never turned away. If we requested more towels or tolietries we were given them without incident. I'd recommend it.
