Watch out for the cleaning girlsThe hotel was nice and clean and the breakfast wasn't bad either. However, upon leaving we noticed that several of the souveniers that we had purchased were missing. Service was horrible.For the money I was expecting this; but never thought it would be as bad as it was. The locale was very convenient, however, the staff lacked all sort of managing experience and were very rude at the slightest request. The rooms smelled. Not what we expectedIt's in a great location, but is a bit rundown. Our room was missing a closet door, switches on lights by bed didn't work (had previously been repaired with hot glue), bathroom light flickered constantly when on, huge opening at bottom of room door allowed light in all night long, no luggage stand,tub had a nasty washcloth left in it, and ...1 of 2 Yahoo! Just fine!I was very nervous coming from MN. The place was clean and the pool was nice. It was also nice to use their computer to look up directions, etc. The lady working the breakfast was very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.2 of 2 Yahoo! Are you supposed to pay for this?The odor of the room was out of this world. It seemed like someone or something had died in it. The AC wouldn't work right. The toilet was half stopped up, but at least they gave us a plunger so we could fix it ourselves, since they didn't seem to be able to find anyone to do it. Service on a scale of 1-10 was I would say a 2 on a good day. Some days it was worse. I can't believe you are supposed to pay for this type of service.1 of 2 Yahoo! Orlando-UniversalThe hotel has no shuttle service so my husband drove the children and I to Universal and dropped us off. He then returned to the hotel and walked the .5 (plus) miles back to the park to meet us. It is .5 miles to the front entrance not to the park itself. VERY cleanI was impressed with Red Roof Inn--My friends and I had just come from Holloween Horror Nights and needless to say we were very exhausted. I only paid $45 for a double bed room for one night and the room was sooooooo clean---i was surprised b/c most hotel/inns that are that cheap aren't usually clean---This one was sooo clean and the attendants at the desk were so nice--if im ever in orlando again---i wouldn't hesitate to come back hereYou have found this review helpful.2 of 2 Yahoo!
