the room was a non smoking room and I could still smell the odor of past smokers. there were no pillows on our bed when we entered the room. Our towels looked dingy and felt rough. Today I checked in to Homestead studio suite located at 1377 W.Glenoaks blvd for four days starting from 17-Nov-2007 to 21-Nov-2007(checkout). We were given the room No: 136. The location is all right, with easy access to Hollywood, Universal City, Burbank. But the hotel doesn't provide housekeeping more than once per week, and our room was filthy. This is a clean and respectable place. It's on a busy street but in a quiet part of Glendale. Some of the rooms have a peekaboo view of the Hollywood Hills or the frontyard palm tree. Others overlook the parking lot as usual so ask to see all available. The little suites had everything we needed. Certainly not fancy but not a flea bag either. ...
