Unfortunately the only thing good about this hotel is the restaurant next door. Overall, I had 30 rooms on hold for 4 days- 30 days in advance, 4 days later, my company changed the dates and only could stay 3 days. They were so incredible inflexible that they already charged my card the full rate. When we arrived , there was construction going ...

We always goto the Inn!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/25/09
We are frequent visitors to The Napa River Inn and on each visit we feel that we are their most important guests. The lobby is so welcoming and beautifully decorated. The grounds are gorgeous and the riverfront walkway is the way to unwind upon arrival after grabbing a sweet treat from the Vintage Sweet Shoppe or a tea from Sweetie Pies. The ...

GREAT LOCATION
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/08
This is a great location! I called on a whim and they had a room and even upgraded us to a view with free breakfast and wine coupons! It was so nice we had to stay another night. I highly recomend it! The town is within walking distance and easy to get to hwy for wine tasting.

Great fun.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/22/07
The room was wonderful. Atmosphere was great too, fireplace in the room, great view of the river and the grounds were very nice. When we got there on the Friday night, there was wine tasting in the lobby. The complimentary breakfasts at Sweetie Pies were great. What a lot of fun! We highly recommend it. By the way, if you have a pet, they are pet friendly.

Disappointing Customer Serivce
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/23/06
I had the misfortune of booking a block of rooms for my wedding at the Napa River Inn. The website boasted their service and amenities and so it looked promising and reasonable in price. When I arrived in Napa and there was a miunderstanding regarding the cancellation policy with my room block, I had to speak to the rooms division manager who ...
I've stayed here 4 times now and the rooms are always clean and very nice, the fireplace rooms are romantic as well. The great thing about it is that after a day of wine tasting you can go back to the hotel and have plenty of places to eat in walking distance. The restaurants at the hotel are both excellent and Cutie Pies is not to be missed for a morning pastry.

A room with a view!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
We paid some extra money to be on the river view side of the Inn. What we had a view of, though, was Hwy 121, the used carlots, gas stations, and a couple dive bars and taquerias. If you look down, you see the river with dirt and tractors.
I enjoyed the restaurant/bar that was next to the Inn, and will probably go back for food/wine there, ...

Great for Honeymooning!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/05
The Napa River Inn has been my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. My husband and I stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and we hope to go back one day. The staff was so friendly. The complimentary breakfasts were outstanding. The room was clean and very romantic with a gas fireplace. I recommend Napa River Inn to anyone travelling to the wine country.

Elegant room, good location

We only stayed here for one night, but we found it enjoyable. The rooms were very new and the linens were plush. We chose to have the complimentary breakfast delivered to our room, and it was delicious. All of the local restaurants are within walking distance, and the river outside our window was soothing. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time at the Hotel and our room was really nice. Next time I think we'll spend the extra money and stay in one of the historic rooms - we took a tour and those are to die for! Breakfast from Sweetie Pies was delicious.
