The rooms are very new and clean, they must have just been re-done. I really liked the bathroom, there is a seprate shower and tub. It is very spacious and elegant. The iced tea in the lobby in the late afternoon was a nice touch, and the coffee in the mornings, athough I wish that they had offered tea as well. Another nice surprise was the ...
My husband stayed here for a wedding in Palo Alto. I loved this hotel. Mostly because it was everything you want in a upper end hotel, it was nice; it was clean; and the service was excellent. Nice hotel though not the full service hotel that we've come to expect from Westin. It worked well for us though because of the nice pool that the kids really enjoyed.
The best thing about the hotel were the rooms. They were nicely sized with super comfortable beds. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is locatd on a busy street, but when you're inside, it's quiet and peaceful. The hotel is within walking distance to both Stanford University and the shops and restaurants in downtown Palo Alto.
