    Every day of the week from 5:00 to7:00 Johnny's Hideaway at Crossroads has Happy Hour with $4 drinks are really yummy hors d' oeuvres.     A chance at excellence wasted. What a great decor. Walking in the door was thrilled at the coziness of the place. Was completely ignored by the hostesses who seemed frazzled.     Salty, greasy and MSG filled expensive food ... very poor service ... our waitress licked Her fingers while serving our meals!!! We were so thirsty with all the MSG in the steaks and seafood, but we could not get refills for anything ... took almost 50 minutes. Even the decor was awkward placed ... looks like the restaurant was thrown together ...

    Just got back from a 4th of July vacation and we visited Johnnie's three times. Staff was wonderful! They remembered us the second and third time and we were visited by the manager often to make sure everything we ok. Our server, Carlos, was extremely helpful and pleasant.     Unlike the other person who reviewed, I had an absolute horrible experience.

    First, let me say the decor is excellent as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant, it is themed around "old Florida" style and dishes. However, the good ended there.

    A wonderful dining experience! From the beautiful ambiance, to the impeccable service (Amanda was friendly and informative), to the outstanding cuisine (try the macadamia shrimp!), I would recommend this place as one of the best in Orlando.
