My husband and I arrived at the hotel and were immediately greeted my grumpy stuff who were less than eager to help. The room was awfully small (I think some bathrooms in other hotels are bigger) and there was not even a hairdrier (although the hotel staff manager explained, after several complaints, that a 3star hotel does not have such ...

We found the staff to be very helpful in accommodating our family. They provided the services we needed, and were friendly to our kids. A renovated room was unavailable, but we did get a larger corner room with a sitting room and separate bedroom. I felt like we were in a 1950's movie set in New York. This was by no means a luxury suite, ...

never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/15/05
I was a first time in 'Belgrade' in a RENOVATED room and, although service in the hotel was sub-standard, and the building itself depressing, the room was really ok. However, for the same price and w/out informing you at booking, they also have rooms straight from the construction of the hotel, with still old soviet information in them, and ...

my stay at belgrade 1
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/10/04
you won't be sorry. This place is excellent for the money. It is close to the arbat and metro and so much more. Breakfast is included in the room price and it is a great buffet breakfast. Money exchange, laundry, restaurant, bar, safe-keeping of anything in special access room, park square just outside front door, and more.

my stay at the belgrade 1
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/08/04
There are 2 belgrade hotels (across smolenscaya street from each other). I stayed in #1 (no. 2 was under reconstruction at the time). It was very accomidating, clean, and nicely decorated but not overly done. The price per night is one of the best in the city and it is located at the foot of the arbat prominade and perfect ...
