Great Digs in FesReasonable, clean, fairly helpful staff. This place is wonderful for budget travelers. The gardens are really beautiful! Nice pool. Changing money - beware!The posted rates of exchange were good so we decided changed money at the front desk. The rate at the time was something in the order of 7.9866 dirhams/$ Cdn.
When we did the exchange the clerk only wanted to give us 7.9. I guess he thought the 0.0866 portion was for him. We continued to object and eventually got the rate that they had posted. ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

may be okay for you, but it is not for me!The hotel room was small but it was nice and clean. Great hotel in FezThis hotel was great! I had stayed in a Riad in Fez before coming here and left there because they tried to fleece me. This hotel had a western feel, not that I was on the lookout for that, but it was welcome after a bad experience. The staff is helpful and efficient. The hotel and rooms are very clean, the restaurant has good food AND it was a few steps away from the train station. I totally enjoyed my stay here!5 of 5 Yahoo!
