When We first checked in they charged more for my dog than they told me it would be by 30 dollars,then the door didn't work, Then the remote didn't work, phone didn't work, no interenet as advertised and the staff was extremely rude. We ckecked out 3 days early after being unable to resolve any of these issues. The room was clean and the veiw was gorgeous! However, the positives didn't come close to outweighing the negatives.

We often stayed here when my daughter was a student at Western Carolina University. The hotel sits on the side of a mountain and It has a beautiful view of the smokey mountains. Every room has rocking chairs overlooking the north side. Prices are reasonable as well. Not a good place to stay during winter months, however, because it is located up the side of a mountain. WONDERFUL the rest of the year!

The manager, Ken, was very rude and hateful. The only reason we would ever stay again is due to the front desk clerk, Caryn. She was the one of the reasons we stayed. The view was beautiful but the rooms were semi-clean.

The view was AWESOME! The rooms were not clean! Cobwebs were hanging from the ceiling, the sheets and towels were dingy. The manager and the girl at the desk were VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! If you want to stay here I suggest you go somewhere else!
