this was one of our stops on our first family vacation. we loved is and our kids enjoyed the whole place! the animals were beautiful and the pool is a great place to cool off during the summer! our kids are all under the age of 5 and they loved going and splashing around! even my 8 month old enjoyed herself! the 2 day price was worth it! we will be returning next summer!

Our experience at this hotel were the worst in all my life. The staff show uncare, they forgot the good manners (front desk and the pool bar) I'M THINKING THIS PERSONS DOES NOT HAVE ACKNOLEDGE ABOUT THE WORD " C U S T O M E R". USUALLY YOU SPECT AT LAST GOOD MANNER. But if they forgot this word, they're working at the wrong place.

We reserved the "romantic rendezvous" package. For $400 we expected a lot more. We can get the same room anywhere else for $69. We did get the cheap champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and jacuzzi, but expected a larger room (being it was supposed to be a suite), plush carpet, nice bedding, nicer furniture (not particle board), ...

The Good: We really enjoyed our stay at Moody Gardens Hotel. Everything from the front desk to housekeeping was spectacular. I loved evrything the people were nice I mean everything. I went to Galveston for my job we had alot of kids to watch and take care of and they helpeed us a lot. The food was great and it gave the students a reason to know why they should go to college!

If you are planning a trip to Moody Gardens this hotel is great. Everything is within walking distance and the hotel has alot of kid friendly things. They offer a fun jump for the kids, face painting, a smores cookout, shuffle board, giant chess/checker board, and a fantastic pool.
