We go to AC several times a year and always stay at the Tropicana. The last time we went, however, was MLK's birthday and everything on the Boardwalk was booked so we decided to try the Sheraton. What a wonderful surprise - the hotel is attractive, the rooms are clean and it's adjacent to the Outlets. We took a cab to the casinos (at a ...

Great Place to Crash
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/06
Great, spacious rooms. great value compared to casinos, especially on the weekends! Rooms are contemporary and clean I've stayed twice, once for a bachelorette party and once just for fun. Very easy to get to the boardwalk, cheap cab ride or the Jitney, which is right in front on the convention center. Restaurant/bar is pretty good too.

Bad Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/06
If you think you can easily access broadwalk casinos, you are totally wrong. This hotel actually charge every thing possible: internet, parking... Front desk people are not friendly and helpful at all. 2nd floor resteraunt sucks. Breakfast buffet is expensive and aweful. You think this hotel is a little cheaper but ended up being at a very inconvenient location. Beds are confortable.
The hotel is supposedly "pet friendly." After finding out that the pet must be accompanied at all times I tried to cancel the reservation and was charged a full nights stay despite cancelling a week ahead of time. I had one simple question that could not be answered... Why would anyone go to Atlantic City to sit in their hotel room ...
I was there for a trade show and everything was EXCEPTIONAL! All of the help was friendly, the room was emaculate and stocked, no problems. A secure hotel and in a great location.
I will recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling to Atlantic City.

Theres no other way to do it with style in Atlantic City
The Sheraton in Atlantic City has to be one of my favorite hotel stays to date. We absolutely loved it. The hotels theme is the Miss America Pagent, so when you walk into its beautiful lobby with its marble floors and winding staircase there are dresses and tiaras of previous Miss America winners on display. Upon arrival the staff is courteous ...

Atlantic City Hotel with no interest in gaming
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/08/05
The Sheraton is a nice hotel: in walking distance of the boardwalk and other hotels with gaming floors. If you want a place near the Convention center, it's great! You can walk to it under a roof in an enclosed hall. That's where your car parks too.

Nice if you don't care about being on the boardwalk
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/04
The Sheraton AC Convention Center is located adjacent to the convention center and near the train station. The rooms are spacious, relatively modern and cheaper than the boardwalk alternatives. The Tun Tavern is a nice in-house bar-restaurant that serves its own brews. The biggest drawback is that there's no casino in-house and you have a ...
