Room was grimy, poorly lit and stank of bleach to the point that our eyes were watering. Clerk refused to give us another room in an otherwise empty hotel.

The location and the number of individuals hanging around the lobby and wandering the parking lot peering into cars convinced us to go find another place to stay. There was no way I would have left my wife alone in that place, even if we could stand the smell.
