Hot chocolate on a whim.While traveling the Icefields Parkway with my two teenage sons we stumbled upon the most beautiful little, rustic lodge. We were in a mood for some hot chocolate after a long day of travel so we stopped. At first we thought there was nobody there as everything seemed to be touched only by nature. Open Jaw at Num-Ti-JahWow! Beautiful escape from the busy parts of Banff National Park, yet close enough to indulge in all the popular activities. Gorgeous old lodge reminicent of The Shining lodge. Spooky and serene, large fireplaces and plenty of history. On a large lake with trails and awesome skiing all over. 25 rustic rooms and no phones or TV in the room to interrupt your thoughts.
