Previous reviewer must be talking about the other LaQuinta. This one is brand new and nestled among several other brand new hotels. Smelled very clean and room was large and comfortable. Free internet access. We didn't try the breakfast as we ate at Chick Fil A across the road. Lots of shopping nearby. Great location.

We waited for check-in until the room was ready, only to find that the floor in the bathroom was plainly littered with hair, there was debris left on the carpet and bed cover, the exposed side of the bed was stained from spills of who-knows-what, and the room was well worn in most aspects. The hotel is easily located from the highway and very close to the Galleria Mall. It was very clean, looked brand new, the room was spacious, and the staff was very polite and courteous.

The rate was less through travelocity than through the front desk, so you may want to book online through a hotel service before you call them.
