Impromtu New Year Getaway 2008-2009My wife and I took a small getaway and basically chose Hampton Inn based on free credit card points, but we were pleasantly surprised.
We added and changed some things about the reservation that proved to be no problem at all. We added a night and was a given a rate that was better than online.

Renovation Made A DifferenceWow... I have stayed at this hotel several times but not for about 1.5 years. The hotel was getting a bit old, so when I stayed there for 3 nights recently, I was surprised by all the difference that the renovations made. Comfort-lessI had a three nights stay recently. The facility looks nice and the staff provided good customer service. However, the room was very uncomfortable. The AC was not working properly and the room was very warm at night. We reported it the first night and was told it was fixed. Needs improvementHampton Inn has been a favorite of our family for some time. This was not a good experience for us. The service was excellent but the comfort of the room was not. First, we were given a handicap room. There was not a chair other than the desk chair in which to sit.
