I had searched this out on the internet, and of course the website makes it look and sound like absolute "nirvana"....What we found was a building and grounds in need of a lot of TLC...The room we booked was filthy. We love staying at the Hidden Moose Lodge, and we are NOT relatives of the owner. We've stayed 3 times and each successive stay is even better than the last. The rooms are comfy, the breakfast superb and accommodating and the people are easy to talk to and truly interested in their guests.

We've never enjoyed ourselves more than our ski vacation in January! The breakfasts are legendary and the relaxed attitudes and friendliness of the the owners and other guests was wonderful! I really liked the little touches, like the fresh chocolate chip cookies and brownies on the kitchen counter when we got back from dinner at night!

Not clean - not worth the $$... on the main road/noisy... I think the good reviews must come from relatives of the owners. The other bad reviews hit the nail on the head....

Do not, DO NOT, reserve at this lodge if there is ANY chance that your travel plans might change within a reasonable time.

We thought would have more fun at a place with a pool so, we checked into the Pine Lodge. Not a bad place but, it's on par with a Holiday Inn with a indoor/outdoor pool.
