Good location, very old hotel !!I stayed at this hotel on a recent trip to Universal Studios Hollywood. The location is great as it is just 2 miles from the entrance of the park.
The hotel is very old, the fixtures in room looked like it was atleast 15 to 20 yrs old, but fortunately none of the taps leaked and everything was working. The A/C in the room was old and noisy ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

what a horrible place!!!!This place is run by the usualy indian people who speak limited english. Upon checking in I was asked if I was going to be checking out that same night, just because I am a woman they must assume I was there for only one thing.. what an insult. Nice LocationThe staff was indifferent. Barely any eye contact with customers. TV remote did not work. Went to the office to get new batteries...still did not work. Bed was soft, pillows, too. Horrible ServiceI booked several rooms for family to stay in the weekend of my wedding. About a month before the wedding I contacted the hotel to see how many of the rooms had been booked and to cancel the open ones. Unhelpful StaffVery rude. It seemed like we were putting them out by asking for info and just trying to check in. Best for PriceAn excellent location -- easy to Hwy 101 via Coldwater Canton, decent restaurants, a Starbucks and even a Ralph's grocery within an easy walk (all less than a block). Room supplies were well-maintained during my 2 days. Breakfast had cereal, OJ, and coffee (not gourmet, however). Parking tight but not a problem. I'd stay again (unless I had a lot more money to spend).OVERALL

An excellent buyThe motel room was good for the money. The room was architecturally interesting (much better than the usual "box"), and was equipped with a 'fridge and microwave, which was appreciated. The decor was a little on the funky side, which appealed to me.
