The hotel itself, is nothing special, just your typical Hampton Inn. The breakfast offering was substandard.
The staff though, was friendly and attentive. I can't complain at all about them. Wonderful people who made an otherwise average stay something a little more special.

Hampton is okay, Best Western in Gainesville is better
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/25/07
Having travelled to Gainesville on numerous business trips I have stayed at both hotels. The Hampton lacks an on-site fitness center, an on-site lounge, and the free brekfast in no way compares to the Best Western.
Not to knock the Hampton, it's an okay stay and I would stay again if the BW was sold out but it just does not compare favorably ...

Not worth the money but good service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/18/06
The service is great for the whole 20 minutes I was attended to at check in and check out, but other than that, I can't think of a better reason to not spend 80 some odd bucks.

This place is utterly perfect.

The staff at this hotel is easily the best hotel staff ever encountered. They should all get raises and be told, "Great job!"

Nice hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/26/05
I have stayed at this hotel numberous times the last two years on business and have found them to be very accomodating and friendly. My stays vary from 5 to 11 days each time....I will continue to stay at this hotel in the future.
