stay was ok, they try to sell Williams as the gate way to the Grand Canyon, When in fact there a lots of hotels at the entrance or you could stay in Flagstaff which is very nice.
Arrived for the Grand Cayon Railways trip the following day & was greeted by the guest person "Debi" at this hotel. She had personally, was extremely helpful and a heart as big as TX. Marriot, you have a GREAT asset to your company in Williams, AZ. The town of Williams is one of the best places I have visited in the U.S.A. Highly Recommend.
This location is really standing by the no smoking policy. We checking in and were not impressed with the appearance of the site. It is a little older. The room we were assigned had been smoked in, we went to the desk and they moved us immediately and appologized. The area for breakfast was quite cramped, but the food was good.

Our room was near the stairwell, we heard noises of people walking up and down the stairs slamming doors all night. For the $99 we spent for the room, it wasn't worth it.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/28/05
Visiting Grand Canyon form UK, a great place to stay. Service is EXCELLENT, rooms are good, great price. Were there over Christmas - Ski & tube a few minutes drive. Route 66. Town has the best hospitality - food, bars, great people. about 1h from the Canyon
