My wife and I were with a group tour that spent three nights here in September 2007. Location was safe and scenic within easy walking distance to numerous historical points of interest in downtown. Strong police presence on the streets (possibly b/c of the approching Sept. 16 national elections) made for safe and secure feeling while exploring surroundings. Room furnishings and decor were adequate and buffet meals in dining room were excellent.

The Esperia is in walking distance from most attractions in Athens. The staff was very helpful to my son and I.
The hotel is mostly made of marble, and although the rooms were nothing special, rooms have a great view of the Parthanon.
