While the rooms were small, they were nicely furnished and comfortable. The shower was a problem, however, and we flooded the floor. The location is wonderful though, easy to walk to everything, especially the boardwalk. The roof top restuarant was very nice, and so was the breakfasts.
best location in town, great service, charming, the gym could be better overall a winner. this is on the main square overlooking the sea. a 2 minute walking distance to the restaurant areas, central markets and boutiques.

Excellent location is all the Electra Palace has going for it. In that regard, consider this hotel. Otherwise, the service is poor and inconsistant, especially for what is supposed to be a top-of-the-line hotel. The breakfast is good on top of the hotel and the pool is nice. But for your money, you can do much better. Stayed there for almost 50 days in 2007 and have given up on what used to be a good hotel.

Incredible hotel. Worth the money. If you have the chance to go to Greece, stay in Electra Palace.
The courtesy and professional manner of the staff which includes the personnel at the Front Desk, Bellhops, Maid service, etc. The location with the convenience of walking to all points of interest and of course the marvelous view of the sea.

Unfortunately despite the so called renovation the rooms are very small and very poorly reconstructed for a 5 star hotel
