We were given a room at the side of the building which was cramped. No sweet sleeper bed I am afraid. This is not the high end quality hotel that you see in the photographs. Really needs to be brought up to date as the carpet, furnishings etc. are very dated. Good point-guest services.

We stayed at the Park Lane hotel in October 2007, and had a pleasant experience. The location is wonderful; it is situated on Piccadilly in Mayfair and right across from Green Park. The tube is a short walk from this hotel, and you will be in close proximity to Hyde Park, Green Park, Buckingham Palace, Hard Rock Cafe, and some very elegant ...

Another good point, the staff is very nice and was helpful. But the rooms and common areas are in need of a remodel and the lobby seems like an after thought ...
So, I stayed here in the summer of '04. The hotel was beautiful, the service was great, and it was located near both the Hard Rock cafe in one direction, and Piccadilly Circus in another. I made my reservation with an employee discount, so I can't really vouch for the value of the full price, but it was definetely more than I would expect ...
With Green Park across the street, view of Buckingham Place, and just down the street from the 1st Hard Rock Cafe. Walking to the best shopping in London. The service was the best I have every had at a hotel. Loved every monment I was there and never wanted to leave. I had just departed Kuwait City, Kuwait and had one of the best times of my life.
My recent stay at the Park Lane in London was far short of the standards reasonably expected of a 5 Star Hotel. Here's a short list of shortcomings: leftover food in the mini-bar from a previous guest, then not removed from the room and left all day after I took it out and left it on the top of the mini-bar with a note that it wasn't mine, ...
