Hotel is OK but nothing special. Convenient for the Old Quebec pub which specialises in older men looking for someone younger to pick up. If you want that the Thistle is your place. Breakfast is tired and unappetising. Service in the lounge cafe is THE worst I know of anywhere. It is convenient for Oxford Street shopping and for Hyde Park corner. Back rooms are quiet. Push for special rates..they do them.

Nice Location, Bad Reception
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/08
I stayed in the hotel with my son for six nights. Location is excellent. Restaurant quality is reasonable. Room is not too bad; but less than expected relative to the rate. There was no hot water on one day; so we had to take a cold shower. The bath tub was half blocked. Cleanliness was less than average.
The worst part of the hotel services is ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/08
My fiance and I recently stayed at the Thistle Marble Arch and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly helpful- we could not have asked for better service. This is the second Thistle hotel I have stayed in while in London (Royal Horseguards being the other) and I have only the highest opinion of each.
The room was squeaky clean ...

Wonderful hotel at a great location. Lovely room and great service. Would highly recommend this hotel. They go out of their way to help you. Stayed 4 days and would have loved to stay longer.

Very good
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/07
This hotel is an excellent place to stay especially if you are a tourist in London. Although it is very pricy, it is totally worth staying in. The location is very good, shopping is around the corner, all types of foods are available a couple streets down, and everything is walking-distance. The hotel is itself very clean, and the staff is ...
The location of the Hotel was convient. It was only a block or so to the tunnell, but the location was not enough to make me stay there again. The facility is beautiful, but lacking any European charm. It could have been in England or Chicago, New York or Los Angeles. You do not leave the hustle and bustle of the Oxford street when entering the ...
Very clean rooms and very helpful staff. Rooms were quiet and cool. As we were there during very warm weather, coming back to a cool air-conditioned room was heaven. Breakfast buffet was terrific. Very well located near Oxford Street. Will stay again!
