I loved everything about this hotel. The ambience was unforgetable. The location was perfect.

One of these few hotels in the world that are more than just exquisite places to stay. Negresco is hotel culture at its best, for the hotel conoisseur to savour. If you are fascinated by paintings, you go to the Louvre. If you are fascinated by hotels, you reserve a room at the Negresco. Try the winter season for bargain prices!

Folks, ignore any bad reports on this place. It is absolutely stunning as viewed from the beach below and the sunset views are intense. It is a true "Palace" in every sense of the word. We stayed in early Nov 2005, got an offseason rate @ 300 Euro for a 4th Floor Suite overlooking the strip & the Mediterranean ... well worth every penny. ...

The service here is impeccable, nothing was too much trouble for the spectacularly uniformed doormen and you felt welcome.
this is a museum as well as a hotel and "old French" taste abounds, people expecting corporate American standards will be disappointed,
There is nothing to dislike here, just enjoy the experience

The hotel was a palace, I was treated as a queen! You negativers, the French were not snobby, that is called a stereotype and you should know better. The hotel indeed was flawless and I would go back in a hearbeat. It was underpriced for such a luxurious hotel.
