I recently spent a week in Guayquil at the Palace. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and reasonably priced. The staff is attentive, cordial, and accomodating. The adjacent restaurant was excellent. I wish there were a clone of this hotel in every place I travel.

I first checked into the Grand Hotel Guayaquil which I didn't find to be very Grand at all - so changed to Palace Hotel which offered a better rate and offered a clean - contemporary European feel with free internet hook-up (the Grand only offered an hour worth of free online access). The restaurant also offers good Italian food (I was told the hotel is owned by an Italian family).

No dislikes. The "likes" about this The Palace Hotel are the excellent service, cleanliness, location, their restaurant, the familial and business class of its clientele.

The rooms are confortable and very clean...the service staff very prompt and polite...the location is great...itīs near everything. Oh, and at a very good price. We will definetly go back!!
I went on a business trip to guayaquil, so I went to Hotel Palace Guayaquil. It is not a party hotel (although its near the 'Malecon 2000' boardwalk), it is more business oriented, rooms are confortable, nice cafeteria, very good location and a great service by the staff.
I would defenitely go back. Also I foud usefull their new website www.hotelpalaceguayaquil.com.ec where I booked my reservation online.
