The resort was absolutely amazing, with stunning views, attentive and friendly staff, and Incredible food.
You may want to take into consideration the "open air" aspect if you are squeamish about bugs, bats and such. However, if you do worry about it, the lower half of your room has a door with a nice "indoor" room.

For God's sake, don't waste your money and time going to an all-inclusive dump. Ladera is an awesome little spot you won't see anywhere else.

Wow, after reading others' comments, I wish I had their vacation experience in St Lucia. I cannot say one bad thing about my experience at Ladera Resort. I went for my honeymoon and it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious, service was excellent, and the resort it self is just breath taking. Waking up every morning to the sound of birds and having the beautiful view of the pitons in the background was just AMAZING!!!
I love it and I strongly recommend couples to have a get away to this beautiful resort!!

Does it? Simply stunning! You'll never want to leave. I did'nt. I only wish that I could afford to rent the 2 bedroom villa that I stayed in all year long.
