It's been almost 2 years since we stayed at Ladera...and I can't stop thinking about this resort. We are active individuals, so after a day or 2 of total bliss/relaxation, we did sign up for some excursions. The resort is absolutely amazing. The staff bent over backwards for us. We paid extra for the all inclusive option and it was well ...
Our Honeymoon at the Ladera Resort was the greatest experience of our lives. My wife and I recently spent 6 nights at the resort and loved every single moment. This place to us has the greatest views, food, drinks, atmosphere, service.
We stayed in a 2-story treehouse (as we called it). It was the 2-bedroom villa. We had absolutely no ...
The resort was absolutely amazing, with stunning views, attentive and friendly staff, and Incredible food. You may want to take into consideration the "open air" aspect if you are squeamish about bugs, bats and such. However, if you do worry about it, the lower half of your room has a door with a nice "indoor" room. The beach ...

Ladera Resort - Rated as one of the best, if the best small resort in the Caribbean DID NOT live up to expectation or the hype. We went there for our honeymoon and found that the General Manager did not care about his guests. The food was good but extremely expensive. The head cheif (Orlando) thought he walked on water - unfortunate again for a ...
For God's sake, don't waste your money and time going to an all-inclusive dump. Ladera is an awesome little spot you won't see anywhere else.

Wow, after reading others' comments, I wish I had their vacation experience in St Lucia. We went for a week over 2006 holidays, and although the view is scenic, all else was lacking, especially service. We are not a picky bunch, but were made to feel like we were inconveniencing staff for the smallest of things, such as a room service request ...
I cannot say one bad thing about my experience at Ladera Resort. I went for my honeymoon and it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious, service was excellent, and the resort it self is just breath taking. Waking up every morning to the sound of birds and having the beautiful view of the pitons in the background was just AMAZING!!! I love it and I strongly recommend couples to have a get away to this beautiful resort!!

Does it? Simply stunning! You'll never want to leave. I did'nt. I only wish that I could afford to rent the 2 bedroom villa that I stayed in all year long.

Living just to return!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/06
This is a wonderful honeymoon spot. It was a second one for us. The service, food and view are world class. This is not a place for children. There are some dangerous cliffs and overhangs and it is mostly couples. If you want a place on the beach or with a/c it's not for you. We found the climate to be very comfortable without the a/c and ...

Our favorite vacation ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/05
We spent a week at Ladera and it was our favorite vacation ever. (We've been to Hawaii, Nova Scotia, Bangkok, Isreal.) We were blown away by our room (B) a 3 bedroom villa. It was a luxurious swiss family robinson type of experience with an unbeatable view, I'm sure. It was our first time in St. Lucia and I really believe that staying at ...
