The first time we stayed at this hotel was in 1997. We have returned every year since then. The staff is friendly and responsive. The service is wonderful. The location is an easy walk to anywhere in the city. Our room is always comfortable and the restaurants are great. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Quebec City. The Loews is by far the best!

Bilingual staff; very, very friendly people. Just try any basic French and they are all yours! Everyone on staff will help with the French language, if you desire. Prompt response to any request.

My famly and I visited the hotel in June 2007, if you would like a great stay, please ask for a room at the top of the hotel. All rooms are remodeled. I stayed on the lower level and the rooms looked like I had just stepped out of the 1980's. The hotel staff was okay.

While I agree with another review that said they need more elevators, ice machines, and shampoo bottle replacements, on the whole we really liked the hotel. A supurb hotel in a stunning city. Excellent service, well appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Only complaint is the cost of using the high speed internet. Why can Best Westeren and Travelodge give it away, and Lowes charges over $12 a night? Expecially when a high speed connection is less than $50 a month in your home.

I had always wanted to stay at this futuristic looking hotel, ever since i first visited Quebec. It did not disappoint. The Pool area above the streets was very nice. Everything was a cut above most hotels; as was L'Astral, the revolving restaurant. Our waiter was charming and the food was great. Perhaps, not as romantic as Le Chateau Frontenanc---but not as expensive, either.
