I stayed here for a conference. Although the bathroom looked like it could use a harder scrub, the room was large and comfortable with a great view of the lake. Yes, the location is a bit out of the way, but it is only a 10 minute (or less!) walk to Union Station. The service was supper friendly! I could not believe it. The food was over priced, but delicious.
Overall the hotel was nice, but the furniture in the room was dusty... especially under the flat screen television. We had also ordered a continental breakfast in the morning, "a basket of pastries, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, water", which turned out to be one pastry and about 5 small peices of fruit for the two of us. The hotel itself was nothing out of the ordinary but it was the level of customer care at the desk that left me speechless. The desk clerk had us waiting at the desk for over 30minutes without ...
My husband visited the Westin Oct 19-24,2006 for a veterinary conference. Despite a $350.00/per night room, it was lacking. The Fire Alarm went off twice during the stay. Why? On the morning he left, there was no hot water.(remember its Oct in Canada!) Impossible to shower in the freezing water and hard to even shave. The food was mediocre at ...
