The room was comfortable and attractive, with one brick wall -- giving a sort of rustic feel. The view from my room wasn't great, as I was on the side, looking at the balconies of the condo next door -- the larger rooms in the front have a view of Avenue Road, which would be great if you like that 'right in the city' feel.

We stayed at the hojo for 2 days while we were visiting toronto. Great service. the staff was wonderful and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the pool area is a bonus. I just wish the pillows were better. Make sure to bring ur own pillows if staying at this hotel. And also bring ur own coffee if ur a coffee lover. They only give one sachet, ...

You can't beat this hotel for price and location. However, if you are a non-smoker, don't fall for the new "this is a non-smoking hotel" promos.
