I was most dissapointed that the victoria inns website stated $98 a night and when I called to book a room I was told that a standard room, on a wed. night was going to be $139. When I mentioned the price difference the simply told me that the website price was $98 but I couldn't get a room at that price. And further more when I tried to reserve the room online it of course wouldn't even let me. How conveinient for them.

i have stayed at this hotel several times and really do like the rooms. nicely done with alot of extras others leave out that should be standard. the problem is, no one will answer the phone at night, i've had several occasions where plans were ruined because friends call to inform us of arrival and get no answer, no voicemail...nothing. so ...

I really liked this hotel. It's location is good, not too far and easy to find your way to and from. The room was nice, the bed was nice, and I didn't find it noisy. Front desk was courteous and housekeeping brought whatever I needed. No complaints here, and I have stayed at quite a few hotels in Winnipeg. Recommend this one for sure.
