Stayed a couple of nights midweek, in the off-season.
TOO LOUD. Excessive room noise from room parties, car alarms, drag racing, and cross street construction. Can only imagine what its like during peak season. Hotel could use better sound insulation. Returning to Vancouver for a good night sleep.

had a great weekend awsome view good food .a little rich for the winter season but still ok.need more weekend packages. for winter getaways.we will be returning very soon.

The resort has boating, lake swimming and all types of motorized water vehicles. I can't believe that people complain about the rooms, my opinion is that I do not go to a hotel to stay in my room, I go there to enjoy what the hotel has to offer. My family has stayed at the Lakeside Resort twice and we are going back in August/06. I would not recommend the resort for kids, but for teens over 16 and adults it is fabulous.

They've obviously spent a lot of money on the outside of the hotel and have done absolutely nothing in the rooms. The rooms aren't nice. They've also been doing a lot of construction so it is very noisy. I would not recommend this place.
