    The hotel is in the final stages of a complete refurbishment, and whilst this might put some people off everything was done to minimise the inconvenience.
    A room with a lake view is an absolute must. Lay in bed and watch the sunrise over Lake Superior, watch the herons skimming the lake or the mother duck and her duckilings emerging from the ...

    Overall we had a nice stay. The rooms were clean. Our room was lakeview and was well worth the extra $$. There was no outdoor pool though, and the sauna had an old out of order sign on it. The breakfast was barely adequate. Maybe I should change the number of stars I gave them........
