Of course the Casino was booked, so we took a chance and stayed at the hotel. The Staff was amazing courteous, helpful. The rooms simple but very very clean, and our view was breathtaking of the old bridge. For the price and location its a great bargain. Laurie and Dick -the front desk staff were the greatest, Both of them are an asset to the hotel, wish more hotel employees were as friendly, caring and on the ball as they were! We will be back!

We've stayed there in the past & put up with the filth because rooms are hard to get the dates we go. This past year was the end of it. We had liquor, medication, jewellry & food stolen from the room when they knew we would be gone for the day. Management said we must have misplaced the items & refused to compensate us, acknowledge ...

This has got to be the worst hotel ever. We were given a room on the 5th floor and someone on the staff could be heard saying "I didn't know they even used the 5th floor anymore" - There was a warning on the elevators that if they get stuck it is not managements responsibility - if you stay here make sure you wear shoes at all times ...

Find someplace else!! This hotel is dirty and disgusting. I was part of a group that had five rooms. They were all awful!! The only thing this place has going for it is the location.

Filthy bathrooms, dirty thread bare linens, dirty unvacumed carpets, broken curtains, caution tape around carport roof, rusted unsafe railings, chunks of concrete falling from steps and plywood boards covering holes on balcony decks. My husband,dog and I have stayed in hotels across the country, this hotel by far is the worse place we have ever stayed. The most logical thing to do is to maybe have it demolished and start over.

I should of slept in my car and took a shower at a truck stop it would of been cleaner.
I am suprised to see that they have a website since the obviously dont own a vacuum cleaner.

If it was not for the fact that I just drove 500 miles and needed some sleep there would be no way I would of stayed there. I need to go get vaccinated now.

This will be our 6th year & 10th visit to this hotel. It's not the best looking one... but for the money & being close to Wheeling Down (hop, skip & jump) this place is cool. The front desk staff has always been nice (kept the hot tub opened after hours because it was our Anniversay & we arrived late) the view is the best & the restaurant was nice with an even better view.
